A bribe, because I have no pride.
8 month performance review from Sophia

This is how I know he speaks the truth

"Clayyyyy," I whined in that ever-so-alluring pitiful way I have, "my head huuuuuurts." I buried my face in his chest, graciously allowing him to serve as a light block for my eyes. He wrapped his arms around me.

"Aww, I'm sorry," he said.

"I think my HEAD is BROKEN."

"That's too bad."

"I should get a NEW HEAD."

"But I love this one."

"I could get a YOUNGER one."

"I don't want a younger one."

"I could get a PRETTIER one."

"No such thing."

I thought a moment.

"I could get a BETTER ORGANIZED ONE."

He was silent for one long beat.

"I...love you."

I found this hilariously true to life. After reading it, I promptly showed it to my husband who found it equally amusing. :)

Heh.

So SO cute and tender! 'You know it's really love when...' type of thing. :)

oh...I meant to post my comment on Sophia's review, and got mixed up somehow. Well, this one is cute, too!
